This is one of our high-visibility committees and makes our club a lot of points with players and coaches throughout the league.
Care Packages Sub-Committee
Feed the Players Sub-Committee
Volunteers to this committee feed our team immediately after a home game.
Volunteers can also donate snacks for bus trips like Gummy Bears: Cup of noodles: cookies: Little Debbies: etc.
Responsible for meal serving for parties and social events.
The main function of this committee is to organise a group of volunteers to cook for the Feed the Players program.
You DO NOT need to be a BC member to participate in feeding the players.
The "feed the players program" involves feeding the Rapid City Rush Hockey Organization players and staff(and occasionally our guest team)after a home game.
Individuals or groups may sign up to prepare a meal, limited only by your imagination or culinary skills and serve it to the Rapid City Rush Hockey Organization players and staff.
The meals for the players are broken down into 5 areas thus the five passes. Keep in mind this is just a sample menu
1.) is a main dish, Example: chunk chicken (8-10 lbs) and 4-5 lbs of pasta in Alfredo sauce
2.) Rolls or buns w butter or a hot vegetable
3.) Salads with side toppings (tomatoes, carrots, celery, cheese, etc) and dressing (2 bottles, usually 1 Italian and 1 Ranch)
4.) Dessert- Brownies, rice crispy bars, cupcakes and
5.)Drinks - 2 gal chocolate milk and bottled water
We prepare for at least 30 as some players won't eat and sometimes the rushettes, players family, and staff stop in when they smell food.
Does this sound like something you want to do?

The purpose of the Rapid City Rush Booster Club is to promote all levels of hockey (amateur as well as professional) as a spectator sport in the Rapid City area.
This is accomplished through several important committees.
The committees are comprised of members on a strictly voluntary basis.
Members are not limited to just one committee, they can volunteer and be part of any or all committees of their choosing.
All units work together to make the Club run smoothly.
